The Opportunity:
WSP is currently seeking a Building Sciences Coop Student for 12-16 months to join our Buildings group, located at our London office. Reporting to the Director of Building Sciences this position will be responsible for conducting site reviews and assisting our Junior and Intermediate Engineers on projects.

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $24.00 - $32.25 per hour
MB & ON: $22.50 - $30.25 per hour
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $21.50 - $30.25 per hour

What you can expect to do here:
- Apply your technical knowledge to building science and audit projects.
- Assist engineers with building evaluations and site reports.
- Conduct construction and site reviews, monitoring the quality of building repairs.
- Collaborate with contractors, sub-consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to contract administration processes and project deliverables.
- Apply sustainable thinking and practices within project delivery.
- Support knowledge sharing within the building science practice
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Currently completing a degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, or a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Technician, Building Science, or Architectural Technology.
- A strong academic record and involvement in volunteer or industry associations.
- Passion for building sciences and construction.
- Previous co-op or summer work experience in construction or engineering is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Compensation
