Shape Something Different - Join our GTA Building Sciences team as a New Graduate / Early Career Engineer in Toronto or Thornhill. You'll contribute to specialty consulting services focused on building performance, restoration, and sustainability. This role offers exposure to diverse projects, from detailed evaluations to innovative repair solutions, while collaborating with experts in engineering, material science, and project management.

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $73,400 - $97,200
MB & ON: $67,000 - $92,200
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $66,300 - $88,000

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. You'll contribute to specialty consulting services focused on building performance, restoration, and sustainability. This role offers exposure to diverse projects, from detailed evaluations to innovative repair solutions, while collaborating with experts in engineering, material science, and project management.
Your Impact
- Apply engineering knowledge to building sciences and restoration projects.
- Assist with evaluations, reporting, design, and tender documentation.
- Conduct construction site reviews and monitor quality of building repairs.
- Liaise with contractors, sub-consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to contract administration and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
- Support sustainable practices and integrate them into project delivery.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for client solutions.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building Science, Architectural Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Previous co-op or summer experience in building sciences, engineering, or construction is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Valid driver's license; access to a vehicle required for Thornhill office.
- Interest in sustainability and innovative building solutions.
