Lead large-scale finance transformations for Canada's most iconic Consumer organizations-shaping smarter, faster, and more resilient finance functions in a rapidly evolving market.
What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Manager in Finance Transformation within Deloitte's Consumer practice, you will lead complex, end-to-end finance transformation programs for some of Canada's largest and most dynamic Consumer clients across retail, grocery, apparel, and consumer products. You will work closely with C-suite executives and senior finance leaders to reimagine finance operating models, modernize core finance processes, and enable data-driven decision-making through technology, insights, and improved governance.
Your day-to-day work will include shaping transformation roadmaps, leading diagnostic assessments, designing future-state finance capabilities, and overseeing implementation across record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, FP&A, and management reporting. You will manage multidisciplinary Deloitte teams-including technology, data, and industry specialists-while acting as a trusted advisor to clients navigating margin pressure, omnichannel complexity, supply chain volatility, and evolving consumer expectations.

You will be part of Deloitte Canada's Finance Transformation practice, working closely with our Consumer industry leaders and practitioners who bring deep sector knowledge and practical experience. Our team collaborates nationally and globally to deliver integrated solutions that combine strategy, process, technology, and change management.

Senior Managers play a critical role in shaping client relationships, mentoring future leaders, and contributing to thought leadership and eminence in areas such as finance modernization, ERP and EPM-enabled transformation, AI-enabled Finance, and Consumer industry trends. You will be supported by a strong network of Partners, senior practitioners, and specialists while having the autonomy to build your own market presence and leadership brand.

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $234,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. You are someone with:
- 10-15+ years of experience in finance transformation, finance consulting, or industry finance roles, with Consumer-focused industries, demonstrating strong knowledge of industry workings and challenges
- Proven experience leading large-scale finance transformation initiatives, including operating model design, process optimization, and technology-enabled change
- Deep understanding of core finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P) as well as FP&A processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario-modelling, data models) and how they apply within complex Consumer environments (e.g., multi-banner retail, omnichannel, high-volume transactions)
- Strong background working with ERP and EPM technology implementations
- Strong understanding of how AI is reshaping Finance and experience with AI uses cases for Finance
- Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives, build trusted client relationships, and translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support business development efforts, including client and market expansion, proposal development and presentation, and key account activation
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams. An asset if in a consulting or professional services environment
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Undergraduate degree required; CPA, MBA, or other relevant professional designation is an asset
