What will your typical day look like?

You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, advising clients on effectively managing their real estate lease portfolio and focusing on reducing occupancy costs across their portfolio through lease audit services. You will leverage advanced, technology-enabled solution to drive efficiency on client projects. To provides strategic leadership for lease administration operations, portfolio governance, and program delivery across complex real estate environments. The role is accountable for establishing operational strategy, leading high-performing teams, driving transformation initiatives, managing executive stakeholder relationships, and ensuring optimal financial, operational, and compliance outcomes. The Senior Manager serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, delivering innovative solutions that enhance portfolio performance, reduce costs, and support long-term business objectives.

As part of our Infrastructure and Real Estate team, you will have the following responsibilities, including but not necessarily limited to:

  • Lead the strategic direction and operational performance of lease administration services across multiple client portfolios.
  • Oversee complex lease administration operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.
  • Drive large-scale lease audit programs and cost-recovery initiatives that deliver measurable financial benefits.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to optimize real estate portfolios and occupancy costs.
  • Sponsor technology, automation, and AI initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Establish and monitor governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, and operational risk controls.
  • Lead multiple project teams and managers while ensuring successful delivery of complex engagements.
  • Develop talent strategies, succession plans, and leadership capabilities within the function.
  • Own overall performance of lease administration portfolios, including financial management, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and service excellence.
  • Identify and deliver significant cost savings through lease audits, occupancy optimization, and contractual compliance initiatives.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled lease abstraction, workflow automation, analytics, and lease management technologies to enhance operational performance and scalability.
  • Establish governance controls to ensure compliance with lease obligations, accounting standards, contractual commitments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide executive reporting on portfolio performance, service metrics, risks, and strategic initiatives.

About the team

Investing in infrastructure and real estate assets or other large capital projects, like delivering a new railway, developing a mine, or acquiring a stake in a pipeline, is a complex challenge and major investment. Optimizing the return, as well as the outcomes, throughout the life cycle of an asset takes a highly skilled and experienced team of specialists. Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team offers an end-to-end service for investors, developers, and operators in both the public and private sectors throughout the entire lifespan of an asset. Through years of experience working on some of the world's largest and most complex projects and transactions, our global network combines preeminent best practices with market-leading expertise, resulting in an in-depth knowledge of local markets and the range of infrastructure asset types.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in lease administration, real estate operations, portfolio management, or corporate real estate services, including leadership responsibility for large-scale programs, teams, and client relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience managing enterprise-level lease portfolios and complex stakeholder
  • Proficiency in performing and reviewing of lease abstraction, the development and execution of lease audits, and financial reconciliations
  • Experience in landlord payment processing and/or tenant revenue processing
  • Proficiency with leading lease management systems such as IBM TRIRIGA, Planon, Manhattan, Service NOW WSD, Nuvolo, Archibus, Costar, Lucernex, Manhattan One, Yardi, MRI ProLease
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Experience in managed services and or professional services and SLA and KPI monitoring (preferred)
  • Experience in leverage AI to perform abstraction/lease administration is preferred
  • Positions based in Quebec: Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $208,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
