In this role, you'll apply your civil engineering expertise to complex, multidisciplinary projects that shape the future of mobility and improve communities across Ontario.

Your Impact
  • Design civil infrastructure supporting major transit programs, including roadways, utilities, stormwater, and grading integrations with rail corridors.
  • Develop engineering designs, calculations, reports, specifications, and cost estimates that inform client and project decision-making.
  • Review and guide the work of other engineers and designers, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Track, Structural, Buildings, Systems, and Environmental teams to ensure seamless multidisciplinary integration.
  • Conduct field reviews of civil works and provide technical support during construction.
  • Identify design risks and support mitigation strategies to reduce delays and cost impacts.
  • Apply design requirements from Metrolinx, City of Toronto, and other authorities to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality, safety, and innovation across project teams.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • You bring 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering civil designs for rail, transit, or complex urban infrastructure projects.
  • You have deep knowledge of municipal and rail standards - including Metrolinx DRM, Metrolinx Civil Engineering Standards, AERMA, and City of Toronto guidelines.
  • You are a licensed P.Eng. in Ontario and experienced collaborating with public agencies such as Metrolinx and the City of Toronto.
  • You're proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office, with experience in MicroStation or InRoads seen as an asset.
  • You thrive in multidisciplinary environments-working confidently with engineers, designers, architects, and project managers.
  • You care about delivering high-quality work that meaningfully improves communities and transportation networks.
