In this role, you'll lead utilities planning and execution for major transit projects, managing complex relocations and stakeholder engagement. You'll define processes, mentor junior team members, and drive technical excellence across multiple projects-all while contributing to transformative infrastructure that connects communities.
Your Impact
- Develop and implement comprehensive Utilities Plans, ensuring compliance with standards and minimizing risk.
- Oversee utility investigations, design, and relocation during all project phases, from planning through construction.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate utilities work seamlessly into project schedules.
- Engage stakeholders and negotiate strategies that support timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Review designs for compliance and ensure relocations align with project objectives and regulatory frameworks.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- 10+ years of experience in utilities investigation/design for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in transit or transportation projects with agencies such as MTO, Metrolinx, TTC, and municipalities.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario's legal framework for civil/utility infrastructure and alternative delivery models (Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build).
- PMP certification and familiarity with TPAP process considered assets.
- Ability to lead teams, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a consulting environment.

- BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $122,900 - $162,800
- MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
- Atlantic Provinces & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
