This Hydrogeological Co-op role based in our Cambridge, ON office offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental and infrastructure projects across Ontario - including construction dewatering assessments, transportation studies, and multi-disciplinary field programs in diverse settings.
Your Impact
- Collect and manage hydrogeological field data under the guidance of Senior Hydrogeologists, including groundwater level monitoring, aquifer testing (slug and pumping tests), and surface water sampling.
- Perform surface water flow measurements and maintain accurate, detailed field notes for all site activities.
- Process, organize, and validate data to support project reporting and multi-disciplinary analysis.
- Participate in the development and implementation of site-specific Health & Safety Plans, following WSP safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with hydrogeologists, environmental scientists, geotechnical engineers, and other internal teams to support integrated project delivery.
- Contribute to technical insights that inform decisions on permitting, construction support, and environmental compliance.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Currently enrolled in a university-level Engineering or Science program (2nd-4th year) with a demonstrated interest in hydrogeology, groundwater, water quality, or field-based environmental monitoring.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence with access to a vehicle for travel to project sites.
- Comfortable working independently in the field or as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced project environments.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Enthusiasm for hands-on technical work and problem-solving in real-world conditions.

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $24.00 - $32.25
- MB & ON: $22.50 - $30.25
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $21.50 - $30.25
