Your Impact Starts Here - Join a team that applies advanced hydrogeological science to protect groundwater resources, guide sustainable development, and support some of Ontario's most complex environmental and infrastructure projects. You'll work alongside specialists across Canada, contributing to solutions that strengthen communities, safeguard ecosystems, and support responsible land and water use.
Your Impact
- Plan, develop, conduct and interpret a variety of hydrogeological assessments to inform environmental approvals, land development, infrastructure planning, and groundwater management.
- Using digital tools and data visualization, support the development of conceptual and numerical groundwater models to assess aquifer behaviour, contaminant transport, and groundwater-surface water interactions.
- Design and oversee field programs including overburden and bedrock drilling, monitoring well installation, pumping tests, and groundwater sampling.
- Prepare clear, defensible technical reports that influence decisions for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in environmental science, geotechnical engineering, remediation, and planning.
- Provide technical input that supports sustainable water resource protection and environmental stewardship across Ontario.
- Contribute expertise to environmental impact studies, source water protection, monitoring programs, and permitting processes.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Deep post-educational experience applying hydrogeological, geological, water quality and geochemical principles to real-world project challenges in Ontario.
- Strong physical hydrogeology field expertise, including drilling oversight, aquifer testing, well instrumentation, and groundwater monitoring.
- Proficiency with aquifer test analysis packages, visualization software, conceptual model development and data interpretation workflows.
- Ability to integrate complex geological, hydrological, and environmental datasets into compelling deliverables, while meeting high standards for time management, organization, and team communication.
- A commitment to safe field practices and meeting regulatory requirements for environmental and water resource projects.
- Registration as either a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) or eligibility to obtain your P.Geo. certification.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and access to a vehicle for fieldwork.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 - $107,000
MB & ON: $73,700 - $101,500
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $73,000 - $96,900
