As an Electrical Designer specializing in REVIT MEP 3D modeling, you'll contribute to the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project from our Thornhill office. Reporting to the Electrical Design Lead, you'll play a key role in developing electrical building systems from concept through to construction packages.

MB & ON: $67,000 - $92,200
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $66,300 - $88,000

The Opportunity

As an Electrical Designer specializing in REVIT MEP 3D modeling, you'll contribute to the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project from our Thornhill office. Reporting to the Electrical Design Lead, you'll play a key role in developing electrical building systems from concept through to construction packages.
Your Impact
- Design and model electrical systems in REVIT, including low-voltage distribution, telecommunications, security, multimedia, fire alarm/EVAC, and lighting control systems.
- Prepare design calculations and detailed drawings from development through construction documentation stages.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise closely with electrical trade contractors in a design-assist environment.
- Deliver accurate, coordinated construction design packages that meet project standards and timelines.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Minimum 2 years of electrical engineering and design experience using REVIT MEP 3D on building projects.
- Working toward P.Eng. or C.E.T. designation in Ontario.
- Knowledge of LV distribution, fire alarm systems, lighting and control, and passive telecommunications.
- Familiarity with National Building Code of Canada, Ontario Building Code, and standards such as LEED v4.0, ASHRAE, and CSA/ULC.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to obtain PSPC Reliability security clearance.
- Experience with alternative delivery models (CM, Design Build, P3) is an asset.
