The Opportunity

Shape the future of urban mobility as a Systems Integration Specialist with our Rail and Transit team in Toronto. You'll play a pivotal role in integrating complex systems for a major urban rail extension project, ensuring seamless coordination between new-build infrastructure and existing operational transit lines. Your Impact
  • Deliver systems integration strategies that align with progressive design-build milestones and revenue service goals.
  • Lead interface resolution workshops with designers, contractors, and operators to ensure interoperability and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain Systems Architecture, Interface Control Documents, and Integration Oversight Processes.
  • Support verification and validation activities to confirm integrated design compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong technical team culture.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline; P.Eng or EIT designation required.
  • 8+ years in transit or safety-critical industries, with at least 5 years in Systems Engineering.
  • Expertise in systems lifecycle management (V-model), interface definition, and testing alignment.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 15288, IEEE 1220, and CENELEC standards; INCOSE ASEP/CSEP certification is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Rational DOORS and requirements management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of subsystems such as SCADA, signaling, traction power, and communications.

Compensation:
  • BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $135,200 - $179,100
  • MB & ON: $123,300 - $169,800
  • Atlantic Provinces & QC: $122,100 - $162,200
