We are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious professional to be part of the National Tax team. Reporting to the Director of Tax Strategy and Operations, this role will work directly with business stakeholders on a variety of exciting initiatives that will enable the effective execution of Tax's national strategic priorities.

What you will do
  • Independently manage a variety of tax initiatives to support the deployment of the Tax Clients and Markets. Define initiatives with limited information, create a plan and execute on it.
  • Develop and manage project plans to effectively align scope, time, quality, resources, risk, communication and procurement in a manner that enables highly coordinated execution and control
  • Work with project team members to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are completed
  • Prepare high quality deliverables according to stakeholder requirements through creative and analytical thinking, market analysis and a genuine drive to provide great professional service
  • Communicate (written and verbal) findings, recommendations and other deliverables to internal clients including technical and business communication to management through the preparation of reports, presentations, analyses and other deliverables
  • Support the development of agendas and materials for key meetings and events. Responsible for tracking and following up on actions and outcomes
  • Analyze reports and draw conclusions to drive business decisions and plans
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
What you bring to the role
  • University Degree in a related discipline. This may include an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Management/Business Administration, and Communications
  • Proven ability to take ownership of deliverables, bringing a business consultant mindset combined with clarity and speed of thought
  • History of cross-functional collaboration and leading projects that deliver results via people that you do not directly manage; exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Proven relationship development and project management skills in complex stakeholder management environments
  • Very strong PowerPoint skills - good at creating presentations that convey information to senior stakeholders in an informative, clear and professional way
  • Works effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands
