As a Requirements Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale rail infrastructure projects. You'll lead requirements management activities across the full project lifecycle in line with ISO/IEC 15288 practices, ensuring clarity, compliance, and collaboration at every stage.
Your Impact
- Capture client needs through development of user, stakeholder, operational, system, and subsystem requirements.
- Develop and implement the Requirements Management Approach, plans, and processes.
- Design and manage requirements databases using industry-standard tools (e.g., IBM DOORS Next Generation).
- Maintain requirements baselines throughout the project lifecycle, including change control.
- Ensure verification and validation of requirements, linking them to tests and results.
- Collaborate with configuration and change management teams to maintain systematic documentation and KPIs.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years in the rail transit industry, including a minimum of 3 years in requirements engineering or administration.
- Experience leading/supervising a team.
- Familiarity with IBM DOORS NG.
- Understanding of requirements management principles, V-model lifecycle, and change control.
- Exposure to construction and T&C activities, plus knowledge of RAMS, Human Factors, and Systems Integration processes.
- Basic understanding of MBSE practices.
- Licensed P.Eng. or license eligibility preferred, INCOSE Certification preferred.

Compensation
- BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $114,600 - $151,800
- MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900
- Atlantic Provinces & QC: $103,500 - $137,400
