The Wealth Investment Office (WIO) sets the standard for investment strategy and management at TD Wealth. We are a marketing centre driving a financial-markets communication and engagement ecosystem. WIO creates, designs and publishes compelling commentary and sales-enablement tools. We also produce digital investment content - including web, social media and video - and host investment calls, conferences, road shows and major events.
Job Description
As part of the Investment Marketing Team, the Marketing Communications Associate will provide support in the execution of marketing activities. These include traditional thought leadership, frequent communications, digital and website content and event activations. You'll also measure the effectiveness of communications by tracking established benchmarks and reporting on results. This role is critical to our investment advisors, providing them with the materials and information they need to help address our clients' needs.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables and deadlines. Attention to detail is critical to success in this role. You don't have to be a banker to do this job; you just have to be ready dive in and help us expand the audience for our thought leadership, insights and commentary.

Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute internal communications and tactics that support business objectives, managing the delivery, cycle and flow of those communications
- Build and manage distribution lists and manage/host conference calls
- Coordinate translation and distribution of communications materials
- Design online templates for invitations, e-vites, brochures, newsletters, bio sheets, user guides, tip sheets, brochures and pitch decks
- Develop and manage an online repository for all publications, communications, projects and training materials
- Write, review, edit and post a variety of communications to the corporate intranet site
- Bring a wide range of digital expertise to all projects and provide direction on a variety of digital, social and content marketing strategies or approaches
- Support development and distribution of reports
- Leverage marketing automation and email campaign platforms, including building and sending mass emails and reporting results
- Publish website content that is relevant and timely, and maintain website content to ensure all material is up to date
- Own web and digital campaign analytics - continually monitor, measure analyze and recommend ways to improve content-marketing performance
- Design and update marketing collateral including but not limited to investment profiles, articles and various event materials
- Address ad hoc, quick-turnaround communications requests based on business, market or events and initiatives that arise
- Work with internal and external business partners and vendors to arrange distribution and communication
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, with an undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations or equivalent
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to grasp business objectives and translate into simple messages
- Excellent attention to detail, editing and proofreading skills, and high-quality standards for timely product delivery
- An understanding of internal communications best practices, marketing tools/platforms, measurement tools and tactics
- Ability to juggle the priorities of multiple activities and stakeholders to meet diverse and sometimes conflicting deadlines/priorities
- Experience with PowerPoint - able to develop and maintain presentations
- Creativity, with the ability to understand technical knowledge and transform it into digestible, simple and clear communications
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop preferred
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment/sales/marketing strategies would be preferred
- Bilingual preferred
