Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Communications Manager to manage the email program at BMO Global Asset Management (GAM). This role is ideal for someone who is looking to expand their practical digital experience into leading program strategy contribute to the execution of digital marketing campaigns, email newsletters and digital analytics. You'll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth digital experiences across platforms.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee the email newsletters program, including audience segmentation, scheduling, testing, and performance tracking.
  • Responsible for delivering engagement reports for email and campaign content
  • Responsible for ensuring CASL and AODA compliance in external campaigns
  • Modernize the email marketing program for Advisors and Investors through dynamic content blocks and merge tags
  • Make recommendations and implement email best practices with creative teams and stakeholders
  • Support BMO GAM Sales team with digital sales enablement tools (RIVA, Seismic)
  • Support product, sales and marketing teams with email and marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide updates on support activities.
Daily tasks
  • Manage the intake queue (email, analytics, sales support) and assign work
  • Manage email distribution calendars and content scheduling
  • Provide recommendations for digital campaigns, especially with regards to digital writing and content best practices
  • Attend editorial meetings with stakeholders to refine content for engagement
  • Submit support tickets for digital projects requiring support from the web team
  • Build responsive email templates and send email campaigns using enterprise tools (SalesForce, Pardot, Seismic, RIVA)
  • Manage delivery of content through various digital channels
  • Support ad hoc requests from the Sales Team and business partners
Essential qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience working in a digital-focused role for an investments or asset management firm
  • Familiar with the web publishing life cycle, including SEO/SEM, accessibility requirements and responsive design principles
  • Proficient with Seismic and SalesForce Lightning (Pardot), Bynder, and similar tools
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, Word, Excel, PPT, SharePoint
  • Fully versed in CASL requirements and list management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred skills
  • Canadian Securities Course certification
  • Experience with ticketing systems like WorkFront, JIRA, ZenDesk
  • Exposure to design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., AODA compliance).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web publishing
Salary :

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
