Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Digital Operations & Strategy is accountable for the digital operating model that underpins Global Asset Management's digital ecosystem. This role combines senior people leadership, operational strategy, vendor management, and governance to ensure digital work is delivered at scale with speed, quality, and regulatory confidence.

This leader defines how digital work gets done-from intake and prioritization through execution, publishing, and measurement-across CMS, MarTech, analytics, vendors, and internal partners.

Role Positioning

This is a senior people leadership and operational strategy role.
It is not a Product Owner or Business Analyst position.

Success in this role requires ownership of an operating model, experience leading teams, and comfort making strategic trade-offs across priorities, risk, and capacity in a regulated environment.

Key Accountabilities

Digital Operating Strategy & Leadership

  • Translate business strategy into operational priorities, capacity plans, and delivery governance.
  • Establish clear decision rights, service levels, and performance metrics across digital delivery.

People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, hire and performance-manage a team of digital specialists and content publishers.
  • Build team capability through role clarity, development planning, hiring input, and succession coverage.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional partnership.

Operational Excellence
  • Oversee day-to-day digital operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution.
  • Own intake and routing across digital streams, ensuring work is prioritized and delivered through standardized workflows.
  • Implement and continuously improve workflow discipline using tools such as Workfront (or equivalent).

Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as primary owner for digital vendors and agencies, including SLAs, performance management, and escalations.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, and Compliance to align execution with business and regulatory needs.
  • Communicate operational performance, risks, and improvement plans to senior stakeholders.

Data, Platforms & Governance
  • Ensure reliable data flow across CMS, MarTech, and analytics platforms.
  • Partner with analytics teams to turn operational and campaign data into actionable insights.
  • Embed governance, compliance, and documentation standards into all digital processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years in digital operations, platform operations, or digital delivery leadership.
  • 2+ years of direct people management with accountability for performance and development.
  • Experience owning or evolving an operating model or service delivery framework.
  • Background in asset management, wealth, banking, or regulated financial services.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, workflow tools (Workfront preferred), and vendor management.
