Your work will involve network architecture, server management, and cloud computing experience.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead our Azure Local team. This role is responsible for overseeing the deployment, operations, and lifecycle management of Azure Local instances, including Azure Stack HCI environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hybrid cloud architectures, team leadership, and enterprise-grade infrastructure management.
Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Manager, Cloud Infrastructure (Azure Cloud), y ou'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues , deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead a cross-functional team of cloud engineers and architects
• Define and execute the roadmap for Azure Local and hybrid cloud deployments
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, security, and compliance teams to align cloud strategy with business goals
• Oversee deployment of Azure Local instances using ARM templates and Windows Admin Center
• Ensure compliance with prerequisites including Active Directory, DNS, and Azure Arc registration
• Manage scalable infrastructure with Dell AX nodes and ensure high availability and performance
• Implement and enforce Azure policies, RBAC, and tagging strategies
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks
• Conduct regular HCP compliance checks and remediation using Dell OpenManage
• Configure secure networking topologies (converged/non-converged)
• Manage firewall rules, NSGs, and secure RDP access
• Apply best practices for cluster witness, QoS, and traffic prioritization
• Utilize Windows Admin Center and Azure Monitor for performance tracking
• Optimize CPU core usage and storage configurations
• Lead capacity planning and cost optimization initiatives
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on cloud performance and risks
• Support DevOps and application teams with infrastructure needs
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years in IT infrastructure roles, and 3+ years managing cloud teams or projects
• Proven experience with Azure Stack HCI and Azure Arc
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred); Azure Stack HCI Specialist (preferred); ITIL Foundation or equivalent
• Deep understanding of Azure Resource Manager (ARM), PowerShell, and Windows Admin Center
• Experience with Dell AX nodes, iDRAC, and BIOS configurations
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and WSUS
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking and security best practices
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, e xcellent communication and stakeholder management, a bility to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment, and p assion for innovation and continuous improvement

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information
The salary range* for this position is $103,000.00 - 137,400.00 - 171,800.00$ CAD Annual, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.
* Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region . Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location .
