The HR Automation & Analytics Centre of Expertise support in the transformation of how we deliver services. The HR Automation Delivery team is the foundation for advancing this movement from a people-based model to a technology-based model within the HR CoE. The HR Automation Delivery team specializes in leveraging technology such as ServiceNow (including the Employee Service Centre), RPA, AI and Microsoft 365 to enable this transformation. HR Talent Analytics team, and in collaboration with the BES Enterprise Analytics and HR Technology teams, is responsible for providing proactive and actionable talent-related insights that will lead to better talent decisions and, ultimately, better talent and business outcomes.
This position can be located anywhere in Canada.

What you will do
As a member of the HR Automation Delivery team to support in transforming the delivery of standardized, transactional, and operational HR Services by leveraging automation technology including ServiceNow, RPA, AI and Microsoft 365.
This role requires you to work with several different stakeholders all with conflicting priorities and requires you to think of how we can do differently to collaborate and advise on a solution that meets all needs.
Balancing the customized technology requests with our approach to leveraging out of the box solutions as well as setting appropriate expectations on turn-around time when we are relying on other teams (ex. RPA) to build the technology request.

The expected base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $111,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies , and unique qualifications. The expected base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $111,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. What you will do

Automation Design, Implementation, & Operational Support:
- Works closely with the HR Automation Delivery Managers and Director, HR Delivery Centre, Automation & Analytics to facilitate and oversees HR Automation Delivery projects including ServiceNow release upgrades, operational enhancements, HR Scoped Application, Employee Service Centre, AI, Microsoft 365 and RPA.
- As the HR SME and Project Lead, support on project profiles, time management, and business requirements to deliver project success. Understand current state of HR process and visualize and implement the ideal state by using automation technologies.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to re-engineer current state to enable use of automation. Ensure that HR Automation enables the effective end to end design, deployment, and adoption of new HR products/technologies.
- Preparation of testing plan and testing completion as required. Once automation technology is in production, continue to work with the HR Process Owners and ITS teams on resolving issues and operational enhancements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HR Automation Delivery technologies such as Service Now, AI, RPA, and Microsoft to advise HR CoEs on solutions to meet business needs and recommendations for future consideration.
- Serve as a liaison between HR and IT teams (including HR Technology, RPA, and ServiceNow) and system providers to in order to facilitate automation solutions.
- Synthesize and analyze complex data to identify potential risks and draw meaningful insights as well as developing complex reports, dashboards, and creating/tracking effective metrics/KPIs/ROI
- Oversight of HR Automation Delivery process documentation. Responsible for training Service Managers on enhancements and providing them with appropriate updates and documentation to support their teams.
- Bachelor degree in IT, Systems Management or HR preferred
- Experience with PeopleSoft, ServiceNow (case management technology), AI, Microsoft 365, RPA is an asset.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft 365 (ex. macros, mail merge, power query, power automate)
- Experience with JavaScript, SQL, ServiceNow, Natural Language Understanding (NLU), AI Agents is an asset
- Intermediate understanding of technical processes such as ACLs, coding, queries, and widgets preferred.
- ServiceNow CSA certified preferred
- Minimum of 5 years human resources experience
- Specialized knowledge of HR policies, programs, and process
- Supervisory / Team Lead experience
- Identifies and executes process and operational improvements using technology and automation
- Strong Consultative skills and the ability to build strong solid relationships with the management team, HR team, and cross-functional internal stakeholders.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and consider opportunities to improve and do differently.
- Knowledge and experience related to the development, compilation, and presentation of data, reports, and documentation of workflow processes
- Perform well under pressure and demonstrate adaptability in managing unexpected situations
- Demonstrate strong relationship building skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
