Role summary
This role is responsible for driving pre-sales solutioning for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform offerings. The architect will lead proposal development, create solution blueprints, and make Fit-to-Purpose design choices across all CE modules and Power Platform components to deliver scalable, innovative solutions.

The expected base salary range for this position is $104,000 to $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.

Role summary
This role is responsible for driving pre-sales solutioning for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform offerings. The architect will lead proposal development, create solution blueprints, and make Fit-to-Purpose design choices across all CE modules and Power Platform components to deliver scalable, innovative solutions.
What you will do
- Lead end to end pre-sales including RFP response, estimation, solution blueprint, architecture design and implementation plan for D365 CE modules including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, Power Platform, XRM and other latest Microsoft releases
- Keep to date with latest Microsoft releases and to be on the forefront of designing solutions
- Leverage other Microsoft stack like Azure service bus, ADF,CO-Pilot/ co-pilot studio, PowerBI, M365, Teams, Outlook, Viva suite and other accelerators/ISVs to design compelling solutions to create market differentiation
- Develop Fit-to-Purpose design choices ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Create solution blueprints, implementation plans, scope, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Provide effort estimation and pricing models for proposals.
- Design and deliver solutions using Power Platform components: Power Pages, Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Ensure integration with Dataverse and other Microsoft ecosystem services.
- Analyze competitor offerings and position our solutions effectively.
- Represent KDN Microsoft in wider KPMG global network, forums, webinars, and client workshops.
- Publish whitepapers, blogs, and reusable solution assets.
- Collaborate with Microsoft Fast track teams to ensure the proposed solutions are appropriate
- Build strong network with key KPMG member firm contacts to drive impact for KDN advisory
- Develop reusable assets /frameworks that creates market differentiation
- Pre-pare and socialize delivery best practices, tools, templates and mentor delivery center colleagues globally
- Proven track record in pre-sales roles within large consulting or professional services firms.
- Expertise in all D365 CE modules: Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service.
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform: Power Pages, Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure, Dataverse , M365 etc
- Experience with Copilot integration for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
- Industry experience: Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Industrial Manufacturing, E-Commerce/Retail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong cross-boundary collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Proven expertise in creating creative Industry/function solutions leveraging D365 CE and Power platform to deliver rapid POCs and Demos during pre-sales cycle
- Existing Microsoft MVP for Fabric (Preferred)
