The Opportunity
Ignite What's Possible - Join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team in Ottawa and play a key role in shaping communities through innovative design solutions. As a Designer, Land Development, you'll work on residential, commercial, and industrial subdivision projects, collaborating with clients, consultants, and approval agencies to deliver impactful results.
Your Impact
- Carry out preliminary and detailed design of land development infrastructure, including stormwater management, sanitary sewers, water networks, roads, and grading.
- Prepare and coordinate technical reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents for all project stages.
- Support tender processes and assist with construction project management.
- Conduct field reviews and contract administration for projects under construction.
- Engage and coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare analyses, cost estimates, and presentations that meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Apply best practices and sustainable solutions to enhance project outcomes.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Eligible for EIT designation with Professional Engineers Ontario.
- 0-3 years of experience in land development infrastructure design.
- Knowledge of sanitary and storm sewer systems, water distribution, and road design.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $66,700 - $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 - $83,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $60,300 - $80,000
