Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Cross-Asset Strategic Initiatives & Automation Lead to drive transformation initiatives across Metals, FX Cash, and Money Market businesses. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, platform migration, process automation, and governance, with a strong mandate to reduce operational risk, eliminate manual processes, and modernize workflows through strategic platforms and AI-enabled tooling.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Front Office, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Finance to deliver cross-asset efficiencies, support the FXMM migration to TWS / Murex MX.3, and accelerate automation using Copilot, Power Automate, and related AI tools, while ensuring strong governance and control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
1. Cross-Asset Strategic Initiatives
- Own and drive strategic initiatives across Metals, FX Cash, and Money Market, ensuring alignment with broader platform and operating-model objectives.
- Act as a central coordinator across multiple workstreams, prioritizing initiatives based on risk reduction, efficiency gains, and strategic value.
- Develop clear business cases, roadmaps, and execution plans for cross-asset initiatives.
2. Metals Transformation & Automation
- Lead delivery of automation opportunities identified across physical metals operations, including transaction capture, reconciliations, invoicing, reporting, interest calculations, and static data processes.
- Partner with Technology and Operations to move manual processes into system-driven or straight-through workflows (Endur, IMS, downstream platforms).
- Track benefits realization (time saved, risk reduction, STP uplift) and ensure initiatives progress from concept through implementation.
3. FX Cash & Money Market Migration Support
- Play a key role in the ION WSS 5.0 → TWS / Murex MX.3 migration for FX Cash and Money Market products.
- Support migration planning, data mapping, operating-model changes, and phased rollout execution.
- Coordinate across FO, MO, BO, and Technology teams to ensure readiness, testing coverage, and smooth cutovers.
- Assist in defining future-state workflows that align FX, MM, and Commodities onto a unified cross-asset platform.
4. AI-Driven Automation & Tooling
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and related AI tools.
- Build lightweight solutions to streamline reporting, controls, reconciliations, approvals, and data movement.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technology teams to rapidly prototype and scale automation ideas.
5. Governance, Controls & Documentation
- Own and execute governance-related activities across the group, including:
- Logical access reviews and entitlement governance
- BMA and control attestations
- SOP creation, maintenance, and rationalization
- Audit, risk, and regulatory readiness support
- Ensure processes are well-documented, auditable, and aligned with internal policy expectations.
- Serve as a key contact for control, risk, and audit stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience
Required
- Strong experience in Capital Markets Operations, Product Control, or Front-to-Back transformation.
- Proven track record delivering cross-asset initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with process automation and workflow optimization.
- Strong understanding of FX, Money Market, and/or Commodities (Metals) products.
- Experience working with or alongside major trading platforms (e.g., Murex, Endur, Calypso, TWS).
- Demonstrated ability to manage governance, controls, and documentation in a regulated environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to VP-MD level.
Preferred
- Direct experience supporting platform migrations or large-scale system transformations.
- Familiarity with Copilot, Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar automation tools.
- Exposure to ISO 20022, settlement flows, confirmations, or regulatory reporting.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities.
