Your Impact
- Lead structural design delivery for small and medium-sized projects, ensuring technical excellence and seamless coordination across disciplines.
- Oversee structural scope on large, complex, multidisciplinary projects - managing resources, technical content, client communications, and project planning end-to-end.
- Apply advanced engineering judgment and perform structural analysis for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry systems, supported by leading-edge modelling tools.
- Conduct field reviews, inspections, and condition assessments to evaluate performance and support construction-phase needs.
- Prepare detailed design documentation - drawings, sections, specifications - and ensure exceptional quality across all deliverables.
- Mentor intermediate and junior staff, helping shape the next generation of structural engineering talent at WSP.
- Contribute to proposals, business development, and strategic pursuits, strengthening WSP's presence and relationships in the region.
- Collaborate nationally with teams across Canada to align technical approaches, share insights, and advance innovation.

- You're a Professional Engineer (PEO) with 10+ years of experience delivering structural engineering solutions across sectors such as institutional, industrial, healthcare, science, transportation, or commercial development.
- You bring deep technical expertise and the ability to lead structural delivery on multidisciplinary projects with confidence and clarity.
- You have strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and National Building Code (NBC), and you apply these principles with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- You excel with structural modelling and analysis tools, applying advanced finite element methods to develop integrated, efficient design outcomes.
- You thrive in a client-facing environment - responsive, proactive, and committed to service excellence.
- You're energized by mentoring others, contributing to collaborative environments, and promoting curiosity, innovation, and inclusive design cultures.
Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $103,500 - $137,400 (Grade 7, Tier 3)
MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900 (Grade 7, Tier 3)
