In your role as Senior Manager, Wealth Digital First, you will leverage your expertise to execute business -led strategic initiatives from their conception through to implementation . . You will gain in-depth knowledge of Wealth Management's opportunities to enable digital transformation initiatives that accelerate the lines of business digital visions and roadmaps and innovative solutions . . The key focus will be to improve organizational effectiveness and team performance for optimal business outcomes. You will provide strategic guidance to senior leaders on new initiatives and long-term priorities, while adeptly managing a variety of initiatives . This will include, leading a successful culture shift with a transformational leadership style that is inspiring for people to embrace change, foster continuous improvement, and digital first mindset . You must engage stakeholders through active listening and clear communication to align with the organization's vision .

  • Develops an expert understanding of business/group challenges.
  • Ability to develop and communicate a clear vision for digital transformation, aligning it with organizational goals and objectives .
  • Identifies and proposes measures to improve organizational effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Provides strategic recommendations to senior leaders on new initiatives and long-term priorities, leveraging an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
  • Recommends business priorities, advises on resource requirements, and develops roadmap for strategic execution.
  • Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a senior specialist resource across BMO.
  • Manages multiple programs/projects simultaneously and resolves conflicting priorities.
  • Supports the execution of programs and initiatives; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Works on initiatives with varied complexity, typically involving multiple stakeholders across BMO.
  • Acts as a relationship manager on assigned projects/programs and ensures alignment to overall enterprise and group goals.
  • Interacts with various BMO groups to ensure strategy and initiatives meet enterprise governance requirements.
  • May consult to or serve on various committees and task forces.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
  • Influences how teams/groups work together.
  • Keeps stakeholders informed of messages, recommendations, decisions, process, and progress.
  • Collaborates with internal & external stakeholders to provide business context in the design, develop and implementation of programs & solutions.
  • Leverages insights and analytics & reporting to inform business decision making.
  • Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
  • Assesses and adapts existing operational programs; develops new capabilities to ensure ongoing success.
  • Applying foresight principles to identify industry tre nds and n etwork with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.
  • Drives cross business/group coordination and logistical support for the implementation of change.
  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to multiple, interdependent, complex problems .
  • Communicates abstract concepts in simple terms.
  • Fosters strong internal and external networks and works with and across multiple teams to achieve business objectives .
  • Anticipates trends , identifies opportunities, and responds by implementing appropriate changes .
  • Fosters a culture aligned to BMO purpose, values and strategy and role models BMO values and behaviours in all that they do.
  • Ensures alignment between values and behaviour that fosters diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • Typically, 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (e.g. Experience in consulting, digital transformation or digital strategy roles)
  • Broad knowledge of Bank products, services, and organization.
  • In-depth/expert knowledge of the wealth management and/or the financial industry
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge
  • Strong consultative experience and a thought leader in innovation and digital transformation
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Influence skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration - In-depth / Expert.
  • Able to manage ambiguity.
  • Data driven decision making - In-depth / Expert.
  • Strong financial and quantitative skills, including business casing, ROI analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of process automation, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and workflow optimization
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of AI tools and platforms ; and other digital tools like Power Automate, UiPath or similar.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
