Position Summary

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function, according to client specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, user experience, and responsive design principles.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Application Development

Build and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
Develop and integrate back-end services using languages such as PHP, Python, or Node.js.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

UI/UX Implementation

Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web pages.
Optimize user interfaces for performance, accessibility, and usability.
Implement interactive features and animations to enhance user experience.

Testing & Debugging

Conduct thorough testing and debugging of code to ensure functionality and performance.
Perform routine site audits and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor site speed and scalability, and implement improvements.

Security & Maintenance

Apply best practices for web security and data protection.
Maintain and update websites with new content, features, and patches.
Manage hosting environments and deployment pipelines.

Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers.
Document code, workflows, and technical specifications.
Stay current with emerging web technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
