In cybersecurity identity and access management at PwC, you will focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM) strategy, design, and implementation. You will work closely with clients to translate security and compliance requirements into practical PAM architectures and solutions, guiding initiatives from assessment and roadmap through implementation and stabilization.
Meaningful work you'll be part of:
As a Privileged Access Management, Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy through execution. Responsibilities include:
• Assess client environments to identify privileged access risks , gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Define PAM strategies, target-state architectures, and implementation roadmaps aligned to business and regulatory requirements
• Design PAM solutions, including privileged account lifecycle, access models, and governance controls
• Lead and support PAM implementations and transformations , from design through deployment and handover
• Configure and onboard privileged accounts, platforms, and applications as part of project delivery
• Collaborate with client stakeholders across security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams
• Translate technical PAM capabilities into business and risk outcomes for client leadership
• Support access governance, audit readiness, and compliance initiatives related to privileged access
• Produce high-quality design documents, runbooks, and implementation artifacts
• Contribute to methodologies, accelerators, and best practices to support future engagements
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing within the IAM practice
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• 4+ years of experience delivering Identity and Access Management initiatives, with a strong focus on Privileged Access Management
• Experience working with leading PAM platforms (e.g., CyberArk , BeyondTrust , Delinea , or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of PAM concepts and controls , including credential vaulting, password rotation, session monitoring, and just in time access
• Experience designing PAM architectures and access models for on prem , cloud, and hybrid environments
• Hands-on experience with privileged account onboarding , policy design, and segregation of duties
• Ability to align PAM solutions with risk management, audit, and compliance requirements
• Experience integrating PAM solutions with Active Directory, Azure AD, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications
• Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, REST APIs) to support scalable implementations
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Interest in broader IAM domains and emerging access security technologies

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
