Brainhunter is currently seeking the services of a "Operations Analyst" for a contract role with one of our Valued Clients.

Client Location : Toronto, Ontario

Vacancy Status: Open/Existing

Working Environment: 4 days per week in office

Hourly Compensation: $27- $33 per hour in pocket as T4. Final compensation will be negotiated between the contractor and recruiter based on experience and engagement terms.

As a Fulfillment & Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in growing and enhancing our in-store fulfillment business including "Buy Online, Pick-up In Store (BOPIS)" and store-based delivery. This role involves using data analysis to drive operational excellence, boost customer and store engagement, and support strategic growth in eCommerce. The analyst will examine sales, operational metrics, and customer behavior to pinpoint areas for improvement and ensure a smooth online shopping experience.

What you'll do:
    • Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to uncover insights that improve customer engagement, drive conversion, and increase sales.
    • Build, enhance, and automate weekly reporting and forecasting to track sales performance, on-site/in-app customer engagement, and operational results.
    • Analyze various datasets, including web analytics and sales data, to support business decisions for campaigns, merchandising, marketing, product, and cross-functional initiatives.
    • Collaborate with BI and Digital Implementation teams to improve data accuracy, accessibility, and automation.
    • Track, analyze, and measure operational results across all eCommerce locations, identifying areas to drive growth and efficiency.
    • Evaluate current in-store Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to key focus areas such as store capacity, order immediacy, and product availability, and recommend improvements.
    • Extract actionable insights from diverse data sources to guide improved operational execution and support new locations and expansions.
    • Develop core relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, tech, communications, and store operations, to improve product availability, customer order satisfaction and store operations.
Does this sound like you?
    • Completion of a Bachelor's degree (e.g., BA, BCom, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or a related field.
    • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong curiosity to delve deep into data to solve complex business problems.
    • Proficiency with Excel and SQL is essential.
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, LookerML, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build and automate reporting is an asset.
    • Strong preference for candidates with experience in web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Snowplow Analytics).
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to cross-collaborate effectively and support projects to completion.
    • A team player with a true passion for customers and a proactive approach to dealing with ambiguity and self-organizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to understand existing processes and effectively contribute to building and implementing changes.
    • Detail-oriented with a clear focus on quantitative results.
    • 1-3 years of experience in the retail business is an asset.
    • Willingness to continually improve processes through innovative, strategic thinking.
    • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
