Sr. Recon Operations Analyst

Who we're looking for:

We're looking to hire a Sr Recon Operations Analyst to be a part of our Rogers Media Team reporting to Sr Manager, Revenue Billing Operations.

As a Sr Recon Operations Analyst you will be ensuring we continue our service delivery through greater efficiencies and an ever-improving customer experience. The Sr Recon Operations Analyst will focus efforts on successfully measuring and understanding the Media business reconciliation needs while providing insights and recommendations to achieve our strategic direction.

What you'll do:
  • Oversee and accountable for reconciliation duties for all Media Platforms (TV, Digital, Sports, OOH etc.)
  • Owner of data and reporting deliverables for the reconciliation process (K2 Tool, SOX requirements, Platform Revenue Data etc.)
  • Oversee and Support on process documentation and training manuals for existing and new processes
  • Consult on the implementation of systems for the reconciliation component by ensuring compliance with internal procedures
  • Consult on enhancements and improvement projects
  • Assist the Sr Manager to support other team members with their duties
  • Independently manage communication and processes with internal/external stakeholders
  • Subject Matter Expert and solid end to end knowledge of all order management systems across all platforms (S4M, WideOrbit, Naviga, RSM Ad Manager, and Operative 1, MGX etc.)
  • Decision Maker-able to provide Decisions that impact sales for make goods and or errors in advance for customer experience while doing recon.
  • On a monthly basis review the reasons for adjustments and work with other stakeholders to improve the process
  • Ensure compliance of company's standard operating procedures and SOX requirements are met.
  • Proficiency in coding and experience with process automation tools to optimize and streamline reconciliation workflows.
  • Ability to design and implement automated solutions that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency.

What you bring:
  • 5+ years of business experience, ideally with 5+ years in media
  • Order Management system knowledge (Naviga, S4M, Operative 1, WideOrbit, MGX etc.)
  • Ability to manage critical and complex files
  • Autonomous, rigour and strong organizational skills, problem solving, Customer Experience Knowledge an asset
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
  • Good command of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook and Word)
  • Possess a solution-oriented mindset and be able to make recommendations
  • Ability to provide leadership to other members of the team
  • Ensure Recon issues are handled in a timely manner
