Intermediate Engineer, Vertical and Linear Water and Wastewater Infrastructure

WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Engineer to join our Vertical - Water-Wastewater Treatment Infrastructure department, located in any of our Greater Toronto Area office.

Under the mentorship of senior members of the team, you will work on a wide variety of Linear, Vertical Work specializing in water-wastewater treatment, pumping station and reservoir design, as well as Hydraulic Water Modelling projects for municipal and industrial applications ranging from conception to detailed design to completion of the project. The position will also include asset management and condition assessments of water and wastewater vertical and linear infrastructures.

This position will provide you with experience on preliminary and detailed engineering of linear pipeline work, complex vertical works, hydraulic water and sewer modelling, site servicing, tender preparation, utility coordination, and other related activities.

Responsabilities:

• Assist with preparing technical analysis and design;
• Assist with preparing reports;
• Asset management of vertical and linear facilities
• Prepare and review drawings; and
• Other duties as assigned

We want to hear from you if you :

• Graduated from a Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering program or any other related disciplines;
• Registered as an EIT or P.Eng in any province in Canada;
• Detain a minimum of 8 years of releveant experience in municipal and/or industrial in water and wastewater infrastructures
• Has an interest in the asset management, condition assessment, project management and contract administration of municipal and industrial engineering projects;
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following: AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil 3D, or Softdesk;
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Have shown leadership skills and client interface
