About the Job:
Mindwire is currently seeking a Senior Data Architect to work for our valued Federal Government client.

The position is remote.

Responsibilities:

• Increase clients data handling capacity by orders of magnitude (provide more data to consumers)
• Make data accessible, shareable and understandable (democratize data and increase value extraction)
• Provide data security and data access auditing
• Support data governance (automated data quality, data transformation, data assets, etc.)
• Support standardization (data concepts, master data, aggregation, trending, etc.)
• Streamline and automate data flows and business processes
• Ability to adjust system capacity to meet variable demand
• Support remarkable customer experiences with client data

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Expert data modeling for complex operational transactional solutions with more 100+ entities.
• Expert dimensional data modeling for data warehouse or data lake solutions with 20+ dimensions.
• Demonstrated experience designing complex Enterprise, Common or Canonical Data Models.
• Practical experience leveraging Industry Reference Data Models preferably in healthcare, such as HL7 FHIR, RIM, Ontario CIM, etc
• Demonstrated experience implementing physical data models with new generation AWS Redshift data warehouse.
• Demonstrated experience with Data Lake concepts on a AWS platforms ideally with Informatica (AWS S3, Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift Spectrum, Kinesis, VPC and Informatica Big Data management platform).
• Advanced understanding of Enterprise Data architecture concepts, patterns, and standards.
• Experienced in Data Architecture and Data Management approaches and implementation methodologies.
• Demonstrated project delivery experience providing data architecture leadership in large scale data architecture and data migration projects.
• Very good understanding of data warehouse methodologies including design patterns, data mapping, data integration, data testing and application performance tuning.
