As a Civil Engineering Graduate within our Sudbury-based Land Development & Municipal Engineering Team, you will help shape the infrastructure and communities of tomorrow. In this role, your work will support stormwater, water, wastewater, grading, and municipal servicing projects throughout Sudbury and surrounding regions. As a Civil Engineering Graduate within our Sudbury-based Land Development & Municipal Engineering Team, you will help shape the infrastructure and communities of tomorrow. In this role, your work will support stormwater, water, wastewater, grading, and municipal servicing projects throughout Sudbury and surrounding regions. Every project you touch will help improve the resilience, safety, and sustainability of local communities.
Your Impact
- Contribute to the design of storm, sanitary, and water systems for municipal and land development projects.
- Support feasibility studies, grading design, stormwater management modeling, and technical analysis.
- Prepare detailed design reports, review engineering drawings, and assist in creating technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help ensure alignment across all project components.
- Participate in estimating costs and quantities to inform project planning and decision-making.
- Conduct field inspections to observe construction activities and validate design intent.
- Assist Project Managers with scope reviews, scheduling, budget tracking, and resolving project challenges.
- Gain competency-based experience aligned with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) requirements as you work toward your P.Eng designation.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 0-3 years of experience in municipal engineering or land development.
- Foundational knowledge of road design, site servicing (storm, sanitary, water), stormwater management, grading, and drainage.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and interest in expanding digital design skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Interest in developing knowledge of OPSS/OPSD standards and municipal design guidelines.
- Skilled in organization, problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Comfortable working both independently and in field environments.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence.

Compensation:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 - $88,400
- MB & ON: $60,900 - $83,800
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $66,700 - $88,400
