Working in this area, you will analyze client needs, develop operational solutions, and offer recommendations tailored to specific business requirements.

As a Financial Services, Capital Markets Senior Associate you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, supporting critical projects and initiatives that address complex business challenges from strategy development to execution. Your expertise will drive transformative results for our clients in Capital Markets. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective, trusting and collaborative relationships with key financial services clients at multiple levels, focusing on comprehensive business relationships across front office, operations, risk and technology functions.
• Client focus within Financial Services will be centered on Financial Markets participants such as: Wholesale Capital Markets, Corporate Cash Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Treasury Trading, Commodities Trading, and Digital Assets.
• Market Analysis and Insight: Monitor industry trends and deliver actionable insights that empower clients to make informed, strategic decisions and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Supporting Business Development: Collaborate with team members at various levels to support sales, preparation of project proposals, points of view (PoVs), resource planning, and project estimations for client engagements, integrating across lines of services and global capabilities as required.
• Client Engagement Delivery: Contribute to the execution of client engagements and successful project outcomes by managing stakeholders of all levels, communicating complex information effectively in various situations and to various audiences, conducting research and synthesizing complex data into meaningful insights, and understanding the client's business and technology strategy and operations through research, interviews, formulating and testing hypotheses.
• Innovation and Efficiency: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and implement innovative practices across multiple projects and environments to drive delivery efficiency.
• Team Development and Leadership: Champion the growth and development of team members through mentorship, coaching, and recruitment.
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Must have experience in consulting
• Experience within industry roles, with a focus on any of the following: internal consulting within Wholesale Capital Markets, Asset Management, or Wealth Management; Treasury Cash Management & Trading; Commodities Trading; or Digital Assets considered an asset
• Self-motivated with a passion for client work and teamwork, and an ability to multitask and manage ambiguity as you navigate change at the client site.
• Transformation Program Experience: Demonstrated success in supporting complex, large-scale transformation programs for any of the following areas: Wholesale Capital Markets, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Treasury Cash Management & Trading, Commodities Trading, or Digital Assets.
• Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with technology capabilities and key vendor landscapes in Wholesale Capital Markets, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Treasury Cash Management & Trading, Commodities Trading, or Digital Assets.
• Experience developing technology strategies and roadmaps, including comfort with various frameworks and methodologies, to enable the client to deliver as-is, future state and transformed services.

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
