The Campaign Development Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency and reliability of campaign execution that strengthen the BMO brand, maximize revenue and optimize the customer experience. This role works collaboratively with business and stakeholders to review campaign requirements, conduct audit checks on campaign files for both outbound and inbound campaigns to ensure brand and governance standards are maintained met in all solutions. With strong data acumen, proactively investigates data level issues, surfaces insights and help drive continuous improvement across the teams.

The salary range provided reflects BMO Financial group's compensation range for the grade band associated with this position.
Salary placement within the range outlined above is role-based and will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set consistent, and competitive ranges. We regularly evaluate compensation, identify any changes in the market and adjust our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.
Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO's comprehensive total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. - Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
- Coordinates and executes specific activities for the implementation of strategic initiatives; includes tracking metrics and milestones.
- Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
- Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.
- Makes recommendations to improve BMO processes and systems.
- Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
- Ensures consistency in solutions and across marketing channels, media and platforms.
- Works with business/group in the development and management of campaign budgets.
- Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to develop monitoring and tracking plans for external advertising initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with internal frameworks, standards, guidelines and governance.
- Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant data management experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
- Experience in campaign data management and audit.
- 3-5 years of work experience in coding in SAS and SQL..
- Experience in, and advanced knowledge of, the financial services industry.
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
