The Campaign Analytics Manager is responsible for managing pre-campaign sizing, definition and documentation of campaign requirements, and delivering insights based on post campaign measurement. This role works collaboratively with many partners across Personal and Business Banking, Marketing and Technology & Operations to develop lead generation opportunities in a collaborative manner. This role will also be actively involved in improving campaign processes, developing campaign standards to improve campaign effectiveness.

The salary range provided reflects BMO Financial group's compensation range for the grade band associated with this position.
Salary placement within the range outlined above is role-based and will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set consistent, and competitive ranges. We regularly evaluate compensation, identify any changes in the market and adjust our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.
Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO's comprehensive total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. - Contribute to the development of direct-to-consumer/business marketing plans, based on a thorough understanding of the data, analysis techniques and prior campaign learnings
- Develop an understanding of what information is needed and available to support analytical and campaign work
- Develop and conduct pre-campaign analysis and insights to help drive business decisions
- Capture business requirements, establishing segmentation trees, targeting criteria, exclusions and ensuring that campaigns are designed to be measureable
- Develop code to generate program data requirements and prepare appropriate input files for Campaign Execution team
- Builds various reporting dashboards using the most appropriate data extraction, data cleaning and data visualisation techniques.
- Provides value through insights, reporting and data visualization techniques. Selects, configures and implements analytics solutions for consistency and repeatability.
- Researches and applies continuous improvement in data visualization by identifying trends and patterns to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
- Works with different teams, management and stakeholders to enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions deployed in the organization.
- Translates business needs to technical specifications and evaluates existing data visualization systems in order to improve them.
- Develops data visualizations of "large" amounts of data that facilitate the intuitive presentation of data to decision makers.
- Documents data flow, systems and processes to improve the design, implementation and management of business/group processes.
- Develops tools and delivers training programs for use of reporting tools and self-serve analytics by non-analytical end users; may include delivery of training to audiences.
- Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
- Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
Knowledge:
- Minimum 3 years of campaign or database marketing experience
- Advance knowledge of customer relationship management, campaign design and development
- Solid and proven background in business process improvement
- Experience in data analytics, developing and executing direct marketing campaigns, analyzing marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Knowledge of financial services industry preferred
Skills:
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel), SQL, Unica Campaign or equivalent, SAS (preferred)
- Can translate business strategies into technical requirements
- In-depth analytical and problem solving skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have proven written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, quickly shift between competing and sometimes conflicting priorities in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
- A strong passion for data, charts, analysis, trends, and evangelizing data usage
- Manage expectations and juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously
