The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Associate to join our Fixed Income & Money Market Sales team in Montreal. You will gain hands-on exposure to institutional clients, live trading environments, and a wide array of short-term fixed-income products. Working closely with sales, trading, and structuring teams across Canada, you will help grow our short-term investment franchise while building trusted relationships with Quebec-based institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales and distribution of money-market and short-term fixed-income instruments (e.g., Treasury Bills, Commercial Paper, Repos, etc.)
• Assist with pricing, trade execution, and real-time client communication
• Prepare and present client materials-including trade ideas, portfolio analyses, and investment proposals
• Partner with trading, strategy, operations, and compliance teams to ensure flawless execution and superior client service
• Develop a deep understanding of client objectives and deliver tailored investment solutions
• Drive business-development initiatives to expand wallet share with Quebec institutional accounts
• Monitor market developments, economic releases, and industry trends to identify opportunities and inform decision-making

What You Bring

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
• 1-5 years of experience in capital markets, sales, or another client-facing role (ideally on a trading desk or within institutional sales)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline (MBA, CFA, or progress toward a designation is an asset)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Bloomberg, and PowerPoint
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities
• Team-oriented mindset, client-first attitude, and strong interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with credit markets, interest-rate products, and money-market instruments is advantageous
