Role Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Sales Operations & Compliance with a dotted line to the Director, Commercial and Logistics, the Sales Operations & Compliance Analyst is responsible for executing, documenting, and supporting internal controls within the Sales Operations function, including and for supporting contract administration on an as-needed basis.
The role includes performing independent reviews, preparing audit evidence, and supporting compliance reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), ISO 9001, and related audit requirements.
While overall accountability for control ownership, governance, and remediation remains with the Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring controls are consistently executed, documented, and audit-ready. The role will also provide limited supports for contract entry, administration, and ongoing management of concentrate and refined metal sales contracts as well as customer and vendor master data.

Key Responsibilities
• Be a courageous safety leader by adhering to and sponsoring safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Prepare documentation to support secondary reviews of sales invoices, validating contractual terms, pricing, quantities, weights, assays, and shipment/delivery details.
• Review and validate SOX control documentation packages for deliveries, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to invoice issuance.
• Support the development and maintenance of Sales Operations standard operating procedures (SOPs) or equivalent materials, ensuring alignment with SOX requirements, internal controls, and current business practices.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and ensuring audit readiness at all times.
• Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required processes.
• Contribute to the development of performance reporting by enhancing data quality and accessibility and supporting the creation of dashboards and reports that enable operational transparency and risk identification.
• Identify opportunities to improve Sales Operations processes and customer service outcomes.
• Review, enter, maintain concentrate and refined metal sales contracts, amendments, and related commercial documentation in SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all commercial terms.
• Monitor contracts throughout the contract lifecycle, including amendments, pricing-related updates, shipment changes, extensions, and closure requirements.
• Verify that contractual terms reflected in SAP align with approved contractual documentation and negotiated business terms.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve contract discrepancies in coordination with Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Tax, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.
• Support the ongoing development, review, and implementation of Sales Operations policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience working with customers in a B2B environment, preferably within commodities, metals, mining, or logistics‑driven industries.
• A college or university degree in business or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with SAP SD (sales & distribution) module & Microsoft Suites, Power BI preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize activities to meet both internal and external deadlines.
• Highly developed listening and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders including customers, employees, and internal departments.
• Self-starter with a proven ability to multitask under minimal supervision.
• A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is an asset.
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and sustainability.
• Ability to travel within Canada and internationally as required.
Pay Range: CAD $68,000 - $84,000 per year
The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
