Job Duties
• Providing exceptional service in order to enhance customer experience;
• Ensuring compliance with the standards, rules and regulations at the Property.
• Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Be proactive in helping everyone have an outstanding customer experience at the Property;
• Perform highly visible patrols of assigned patrol areas/zones (by foot, bicycle, vehicle) and positively engage with tenants, guests, visitors and employees on an ongoing basis;
• Approach guests or visitors at directory boards, within building lobbies, and elsewhere to offer directions or general assistance;
• Work closely with the Manager's other departments at the Property, especially the guest services and tenant services departments, to provide customer service support to tenants, guests, visitors and employees;
Qualifications:
• Must be willing and able to stand, walk, patrol by foot and vehicle for extended periods (8-12 hours)
• Must demonstrated a high degree of professionalism
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a strong command and fluency in the English language both written and verbal
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment both indoors and outdoors as required.
• Must be able to handle stress and pressure and make a sound decision under duress
• Must be conformable working in a busy highly populated area
• Must demonstrate high attention to detail / observational awareness
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a team
Prerequisites:
• Legally Authorized to work Full-Time in Canada
• A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Must possess a valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification (WSIB-approved). Please note, this is different from Level C or Emergency First Aid certification
