RBCCM is looking to add a Vice-President within the Loan Portfolio Management Group, based in Toronto, Canada. The Loan Portfolio Management Group is responsible for setting the loan portfolio strategy, analyzing loan profitability, and monitoring loan book exposure. RBCCM's loan portfolio clients include most of the largest corporations and financial institutions globally. Given the importance of the loan product to RBCCM's clients, the Loan Portfolio strategy is a vital component of RBCCM's overall strategy.What will you do?Effectively convey complex information and financial data in a clear and concise manner to senior managementDetermine how RBC Capital Markets can be best positioned to capitalize on current market and industry trendsAnalyze portfolio data (credit risk, client revenue, capital, etc.) to drive strategy and business planning for the Corporate and Investment BankDevelop creative solutions through automation to drive increased efficiency and accuracy of existing reporting and data modelsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveA minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial services or banking industry with proven ability to provide leadership and strategic direction Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people across the organizationDetailed-oriented, conscientious, high level of intellectual curiosity and strong sense of ownershipHighly adept at building relationships at all levels of the organization. Excellent presentation skills with ability to create clear and concise presentation material as well as effectively communicate the desired messagingDemonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and work against tight deadlinesGood business acumen and the ability to connect analytics with business decisionsWell-developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skillsAbility to solve complex problems with data-driven solutionsA global outlook, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for solving complex problemsNice-to-have2-3 years' experience of working in a management consulting firmUnderstanding of financial statements and accounting principlesExtensive knowledge or Familiarity with Capital Markets products and servicesPostgrad degree in Business or related discipline.
