Department Overview
Our Technology strategy is transforming the face of our technology teams, our ITSS shared services capabilities, and the experience of our customers and colleagues. As we accelerate our technology journey, we will require a significantly strengthened focus on third party solutions that fit with our target state. Our ability to enable a strategic approach to engaging third parties, in lock-step with our business strategy, and in collaboration with our SSG and TPRM colleagues, will serve as a critical enabler to unlocking business value.

The ITSS Vendor Management organization is mandated to:
• Deliver a portfolio aligned vendor management support model for our CIO's and business leaders
• Introduce a dedicated focus on managing relationships, and optimizing value with our strategic Enterprise Technology vendors, who have relationships across multiple CIO's and ITSS business leaders
• Support enablement of our NEW operating model, through integrated business/technology coverage of common vendors
• Enable strengthened focus on operational oversight, third party governance, and value delivered for our broader list of 'business critical' vendors
• Drive accelerated focus on vendor management process transformation and capability build, including pursuit of transformational 3rd party strategies to drive vendor consolidation, and a shift to next generation managed services models

We leverage industry standards, TD Best Practices, Risk and Compliancy Frameworks as well as Expense Policies to apply appropriate Governance to our portfolio of vendors. Our accountabilities include Spend Governance, Supplier Risk Management, Vendor Strategy and Traditional Vendor Management. Our team is comprised of seasoned, vendor management experts aligned to CIOs.

Job Description
The Infrastructure Technology Solution (ITS) Vendor Portfolio team will bring a 'One-TD' approach to managing our Infrastructure Technology vendors.

Reporting to the Senior Vendor Manager, ITS Vendor Portfolio, the successful candidate will drive best in class vendor management and governance through all stages of the agreement lifecycle, in alignment with relevant TD frameworks/methodologies and in support of business and enterprise objectives. Key responsibilities include:
• Manage multiple vendor relationships for the ITS Vendor Portfolio supporting the business' strategic goals and objectives
• Drive new engagements and contract renewals to completion by working with internal partners (Legal, Sourcing, Contracts, TPRM, Risk Partners) and business partners to ensure contracts and agreements maximize value, meet business objectives, regulatory requirements, mitigate risks and meet the TD policies and standards; coordinate Expense Approval processes
• Facilitate all phases of the Third Party Risk Management Lifecycle, and ensure compliance with TPRM Policy, Standard and Framework
• Accountable and responsible for timely completion of Third-Party Inherent Risk Assessments for new/changing third party relationships and other required assessments and deliverables, including review/approval from key stakeholders
• Accountable and responsible for monitoring vendor performance and risk, via reporting/dashboards/governance routines
• Accountable and responsible for risk and issue management, escalating and tracking vendor issues per TPRM Issue management requirements, partnering with the business to drive remediation plans on non-performing metrics or issues
• Ensure strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions, and their commercial implications to the business in order to effectively manage vendor agreement(s) and relationship(s) and ensure adherence to contractual requirements
• Accountable for the quality of advice and support provided to the business and achievement of the lines of business overall objectives in relation to the vendor
• Lead the assessment/development and/or assessment of SLA's, standards, policies, procedures and compliance monitoring plans that maximize customer satisfaction, decrease risk and/or mitigate to the maximum of availability, efficiency and effectiveness
• Collect/Review/Assess audit documentations (i.e. SSAE16, SOC I/II, SIG) and determine next steps for remediation of gaps
• Ensure organized storage of evidence of all activities for audit readiness
• Ensure timely response to and satisfactory results for Internal and External audit requests
• Support invoice processing where applicable; may include billing, invoicing, rebates, performance/penalty adjustments and internal charge backs, where appropriate
• Monitor vendor spend (costs), proactively identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness and trends against budget forecasts
• Ensure strong understanding of the Bank's vendor management tools including SAP Ariba and Coupa Risk
• Lead the development and implementation of proactive strategies and tactics in managing issues and relationships
• Build/foster solid relationships and organizational alignment with our business, sourcing, legal and contract partners, ensuring communication channels exist, attending/facilitating meetings and participating in working sessions
• Develop proposals/recommendations related to vendor services and practices in connection with the vendor(s)

• Highly professional with established relationship building and previous Vendor Management experience and/or working with third parties
• Ability to manage multiple Vendor relationships simultaneously for same or different business partners
• Good working knowledge of sourcing process and methodology
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; Experience in communicating with executive stakeholders (e.g. AVP, VP level executives)
• Excellent documentation skills; understands the importance of organized evidence storage to ensure audit readiness
• Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external partners at all levels
• Strong project management, organization and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and within tight timelines
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
• Demonstrated influencing, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills
• Drive and determined attitude to flawless execution
• Demonstrated stakeholder/relationship management and networking skills
• General knowledge of the TD organizational structure including main business groups and their functions
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Passionate for technology, understand market / industry trends and issues for IT infrastructure
• Exposure to IT infrastructure, service delivery and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS would be an asset

• Work closely with vendor analyst(s) and provide thought leadership
