Job Description
A career in Procurement, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and manage the procurement of all goods and services required by PwC for operational and strategic purposes. As a part of the team, you'll assist in developing our standard practices and compliance infrastructure, managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to aid in the strategic selection of suppliers, supplier diversity, and contract negotiations.As part of our team, you'll be responsible for the acquisition of services and capital equipment and goods. We serve as the relationship manager for both internal clients and suppliers by seeking appropriate solutions for all sourcing needs, creating, reviewing, and negotiating contractual arrangements through thought leadership, subject matter specialisation, and strategic advising.
Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Third Party Labour Senior Associate , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Facilitate intake conversations and educate hiring managers on TPL processes to assist them in determining if TPL is the right delivery mechanism for their engagement, i.e. contingent worker vs employee
• Facilitate requests for staffing needs via approved vendors and set expectations with hiring managers related to sourcing timelines, rates and hiring consideration . Coordinate interviews between staffing vendors and hiring managers
• Draft agreements and liaise with OGC, LoS Risk Management, National Security, Independence Office, the engagement team and the vendor to facilitate contract changes
• Consult with vendors regarding early terminations and communicate to the hiring manager, ensuring that terminations are managed appropriately mitigating risk exposure for the firm
• Liaise with Flextrack team (vendor management system) to resolve timesheet issues and other system related issues
• Manage off-boarding activities by ensuring the contingent worker's PwC systems access is deactivated at the end of a contract and PwC collateral is collected and returned
• Act as a trusted advisor to educate, challenge the status quo, and advise the business on creative approaches to find the right solutions
• Maintain continuous contact with stakeholders to keep them apprised of progress and potential issues related to their requests. Escalate as needed
• Respond to inquiries/requests through your own or the team inbox by providing education, instructions, clarifications, redirection, information, etc.
• Play a key role in optimizing processes and ensuring documentation is updated for TPL team and relevant stakeholders

• Excellent judgment and strong problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze and understand the business impact of relevant options
• Ability to manage complex projects while thinking strategically and creatively
