Department Overview

The Group Risk Management team develops and implements TD's risk management strategies, policies, reporting and operating frameworks, regulatory affairs and operations. We assess operational, enterprise and credit risks, and regulatory affairs throughout TD's footprint to ensure Bank has an effective operational risk management program within its risk appetite. Job Description

Are you a dynamic professional that can confidently provide a broad range of risk analysis, reporting, monitoring and support to business partner requests? Working as Senior Group Risk Analyst, you will act as a specialist in providing guidance and oversight on risk related matters. In addition, you will:
  • Develop and operationalize standards, policies and processes to identify, report and mitigate overall risk exposures within the business
  • Support ongoing risk measurement activities by acquiring, analyzing and reporting business operational or relevant loss data, and aggregating/escalating to appropriate areas
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for business area
  • Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, stay in sync with internal and external requirements, and align with business priorities
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; raise issues where appropriate
  • Integrate the broader organizational context into advice and solutions
  • Understand the industry, competition and the factors that differentiate the organization
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues
  • Provide thought leadership and/or industry knowledge for own area of expertise and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or over 5 years of relevant experience
  • Broad and deep knowledge of business and risk and control environment
  • Strong communication skills to build and maintain strong working relations with cross functional teams
  • Possess high degree of judgement and decision-making skills and integrity to process and handle confidential details with discretion
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines and adapt to change in a fast-paced dynamic environment
