Thetechnical delivery leadoverlooks the completion of project deliverables and ensures that the analysis, design, development, unit testing, QA testing, implementation, and support of applications maintains alignment with the Lines of Business (LOBs) strategies.Understands data in terms of its business and technical lifecycle (Create,Read, Update, and Delete), technical underpinnings of database theories (e.g.structured, unstructured), and various data modelling concepts in both the logical and physical domains. Assists in creation,implementation/installation,configuration, change, and support of data models, databases, data marts, data warehouses. Works with developers to administer and document data backup and recovery plans, capacity plans and security plans. Plans and ensures the team's participation in tests for new products and data technology releases to ensure features and functions are acceptable and integrated across systems software and platforms. Proactivelyleads the investigation/troubleshootingof database, technical and systems problems and directs/assures corrective action. Identifies and recommends process or system changes to avoid issues/problems. 24/7 duty may be required.Participates in reviews or inspections, in collaboration with the project team, to ensure the quality of work products. Liaises with stakeholders, such as internal teams, vendors, the business teams, and corporate technology partners, to understand problems and opportunities and, recommends solutions to enable the achievement of organizational goals. Builds exceptional relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders.

• Monitors and ensures the development team is on-track with development, testing, and implementationtimelines, and that the functional and non-functional requirements of the application are met.

• Leads in planning, estimating, developing, and testing activities in order to support projects, changes, and bug fixes. Works with the team to identify anomalies and misunderstandings, and provide clarity surrounding the interpretation of the requirements.

• Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.

• Engages and works with the business and the team's Technical BA's to understand and decompose business requirements, and understands how the requirements are translated into detailed design specifications and code.

• Provides direction around technical designs, and ensures that the designs align to standards and roadmaps

• Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

• Prepares and delivers presentations for senior leaders.

• Ensures system specifications meetexpectations/requirements andnegotiates solutions.

• Manages that deliveries for streamlining and integrating technological processes in the organization to improve overall efficiency.

• Create and maintainappropriate artefacts / documentation.

• Chairs detailed code-reviews and provides feedback in a constructive manner.

• Support implementation activities in order to promote the application into the production environment in preparation for the user community.

• Manages and supports production issues, includes working with the team to completing root-cause analysis and diagnosis.

• Builds solutions that are supportable, scalable and achieve our aspiration of common assets.

• Leadin project and team meetings interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments, when appropriate, to providetechnical and deliveryperspective in the meetings and to contribute to the timely delivery, design, and quality of various work artifacts adhering to standards.

• Understands and can explain to others the core processes involved in their area of support.

• Provides coaching and guidance to team members in order to foster professional development of the team. This helps improve overall effectiveness by sharing and adopting best practices and lessons learned, while minimizing risk.

• Acquires end-to-end knowledge of assigned applications from existing documentation, application code, subject matter experts, and/or other application artifacts in order to identify and recommend technical improvement opportunities to senior management (i.e., Senior Manager, Platform Development, Technology Relationship Manager, Development Manager, and Technology Head).

• Contribute toSDLCprocessimprovement activities.

• Supports the management of specific project deliverables & outcomes.

• Identifies opportunities to strengthen the team's capabilities, such as: sharing expertise to promote technical development, mentoring employees, building communities of practice and networks.

Qualifications:

• Typically,between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and/or certification inIToran equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience.

• Knowledge of technical/business environment and processes.

• Must have5+ years of SQL.

• Experience with ETL/ELT development.

• Experience withUnix/Linuxscripting.

• Experience withSSIS, Spark.

• Experiencein Data warehousing.

Understands that the success of a developer is to understand the core business processes of the business unit and business requirements as well as the architecture patterns and technology strategy (e.g., Transformation, SmartCore, DevOps). Conceive and write detailed software implementations/code while ensuring that their code/configurations adhere to the security, logging, error handling, and performance standards and non-functional requirements. Writes, configures, and integrates code to create the software that aligns with architecture patterns and technology strategy. Understands the implications of various components (including technology strategy & architecture) to the overall design of a program, system, or eco-system. Evaluates new technologies for fit with the program/system/eco-system and the associated upstream and downstream impacts on process, data, risk (e.g., security). Works toward the objective of defect free software. Ensures that systems functionally meet requirements, align with architecture and promote the development of common assets. Supports the resolution of production issues and problems. Makes recommendations to improve BMO processes & systems.
