Job DescriptionAre you interested in starting a career in a fast-paced and growing industry? As a provider of security services to clients with complex security needs, Paladin Security Group is offering an exciting career opportunity for you to give back to your community while developing skills for future careers. Our training programs are also a leader in the security industry, and they will help prepare you for advancements, as well as build your resume for a potential career in law enforcement.
Prerequisites for this position include education and hospital experience with a preference for experience at St Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication skills with good to excellent computer abilities are all core requirements.
The position will maintain a 12-hour continental schedule to lead. Each Team Leader will report to the Senior Team Leader and STEGH Security Supervisor. The Team Lead will be in charge of the shift to deploy our resources to STEGH's needs, taking the lead on Codes and coaching/training of the guards on the team and managing book offs received.
Preferred skills/qualifications:
• Ontario Security Guard License
• First Air/CPR Certification
• Excellent English communication and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent ability to learn, troubleshoot, and provide support for security software systems
• Ability to think critically and independently problem solve
• Ability to foster a team
• Motivation and ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Familiarity with Lenel, TrackTik and Prospective software
• Minimum one years' experience working in a leadership capacity (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills
Certification Requirements (All)
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
