The Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily activities and job performance of Operations Team assigned to their shift. The Team Lead is expected to represent Paladin Security Group and all policies and operating procedures to ensure a high level of client service. This position is critical as your main priorities are supporting the monitoring numerous systems including fire and life safety, access control and CCTV. This role will also support in the tracking and deployment of security staff and handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking.

Job Description:
  • Communicate directly with clients and security team using telecommunications systems
  • Receive calls from clients and dispatch appropriate security to specific sites
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and responds in accordance with established emergency procedures Interacts with Police, the Fire Department, and EMS
  • Execute hospital wide emergency dispatching and overhead announcements
  • Regularly update the Security Staff schedules as changes arise during shift as well as filling shifts as vacancies arise Requirements:
  • Security experience an considered an asset but not a requirement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills, including exceptional telephone etiquette
Qualifications:
  • Supervisor or leadership experience is consideration an asset
  • Fluent in English to be able to give adequate, clear, and concise directions
  • Confident and capable of remaining composed under pressure of emergency situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work under team setting
  • Must be able to demonstrate high customer service skills
