TELUS Health is looking for a Systems Quality Analyst I to join our Pharmacy Quality Assurance Team. Please note that this role is a one year acting role opportunity (temporary) to cover a Maternity Leave.Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
The selected candidate will be responsible to certify that Kroll/TELUS products/applications function as designed and requested by the internal/external business client. Plan, prepare and assess the impact of change to Kroll/TELUS products/applications and deliver detailed estimates to implement. Accountable for Systems Quality Analyst I activities within one or more IT projects ranging from low to high complexity.
•Translate business and application requirements into testable requirements
•Review and assess cross-system impacts and serve as the key conduit and communication lead to business users and project stakeholders (such as Developer Analysts, Business Systems Analysts and business primes)
•Write and execute detailed test cases for different provinces
•Understanding the technology and application functionality
•Create and deliver test estimates to QA-Manager
•Log defects and follow-up on the delivery of defect resolution
•Report execution progress on a daily basis; work closely with the QA-Manager and Senior SQA's to estimate and plan QA activity within projects
•Performing gap analysis within test cases
•Testing/Replicating defects reported by our Customer Experience Specialists
•Reviewing feasibility of customer enhancements and reviewing them with the Statement of Work teamQualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Knowledge of software development methodologies: Quality Assurance and Quality methodologies and frameworks (Application Life Cycle Management/Confluence Jira)
•Test estimation capabilities
•Capability to learn new skills and technologies quickly
•Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities simultaneously, and negotiate
•Ability to plan activities and deliverables for multiple projects and ability to work effectively in a team environment
•Technical and functional knowledge with a solid understanding of business processes and operations
•Strong written and verbal communication skills Great-to-haves
•Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
•Software Quality Certification an asset e.g. QAI (CASQ, CSQA, CMSQ), ISTQB (CTFL, CTAL)
•Minimum 2 years' experience and Understanding of the QA process and testing tools
