The Small Business Solutions (SBS) team of TELUS Mobility Solutions' organization is dynamic, entrepreneurial, and highly engaged. Together, the team is responsible for driving profitable growth within a key growth segment for TELUS.

We are looking for a high-energy, curious, and results oriented individual to join the SBS Strategy and Planning team for the role of Strategy Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the annual, quarterly, and monthly financial planning process of all Subscriber related KPIs for our segment. You will also be responsible to lead strategic reviews, business casing, and deep dives geared towards executive decision support.

You're able to work collaboratively and confidently with multiple stakeholders across different business units and levels.

Here's how:
    •Lead the development of the annual and long-term plan of Subscriber related KPIs for the segment •Lead or contribute to semi-annual strategy reviews and presentations •Own the monthly forecasting process and deliver monthly performance updates to senior leadership team •Set targets for and monitor daily performance of Subscriber related KPIs •Investigate changes to underlying performance and uncover areas of opportunity and risk to the P&L •Collaborate with Pricing, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams to minimize areas of risk, execute on areas of opportunity, and to ensure alignment between financial commitments and actual results


You are the missing piece of the puzzle:
    •Strong business acumen and proven ability to synthesize business results into actionable insights •Highly proficient in business and financial analysis with deep Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint competence (SQL/DOMO is an asset) •Comfortable performing complex data analysis and presenting to key stakeholders •Proven, self-directed, hypothesis-driven problem solving approach •Consulting, strategy, and/or finance and accounting backgrounds •University degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience

    •Telecommunications expertise and/or wireless experience •SQL - experience writing queries to extract and manipulate data •DOMO experience •Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
