We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead high-impact, cross-functional, customer-facing projects. The TPM role requires hands-on project management skills, deep technical expertise, and excellent leadership skills. The TPM will be responsible for collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch. The TPM will also be responsible for setting project management standards and expectations, leading and mentoring other TPMs, and delivering large, cross-functional projects. In addition, the TPM will be responsible for ensuring that the system components they own are running effectively in production.
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
•2+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry, including hands-on management of large, cross-functional software efforts
•Experience managing server and client software systems, distributed systems and/or developing large scale web applications
•Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude
•Deep technical expertise and strong analytical skills are a must
•Experience mentoring and developing junior project managers
•A Masters in computer science or related technical discipline
•Deep experience with digital text, HTML, XML, and related technologies.
