Rogers Digital is seeking a Product Designer to join our growing Design Systems team that supports multiple brands and multiple products. You will build true partnerships with our customers: Product, Engineering, and the Design teams in order to continually evolve and improve our Design Language(s) and Product Experience(s) across multiple brands and products. We are a fast-paced, self-organizing and self-propelled team that prides in its ability to transform itself continuously without losing its values.

To empower the Product Designers to create a unified and cohesive experiences for our customers by creating, curating and maintaining a diverse yet compact library of components and experiences along with their rules of usage.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Design and build accessible components, experiences, micro interactions, and layouts that are pixel perfect and are 100% reusable across brands and products
  • Own the quality of the assets created, push the envelope on reusable symbols and implement creative solutions to increase the quality and speed
  • Support the lead to align customers(product owners, developers and designers) from different brand and product teams on problem statements and solution approaches to common + specific UX problems
  • Support the lead in 'Co-designing workshops' with partners and customers to solve common + specific UX problems
  • Co-build the solution with dev partners and maintain momentum + prevent spin cycles by making 'quick and appropriate' tactical decisions during the sprint
  • Support the lead in processes and governance challenges and cheerlead the process to ensure compliance
  • Provide regular communication of changes and new patterns/components for consumers of Design Systems
  • Support the lead to resolve conflicts amicably between different customers and partners to foster a positive work environment
  • Support the lead to measure performance, improve processes and evangelize to drive adoption across teams
  • Build meaningful working relationships with partners and encourage collaboration between customers
 What you have: 
  • 3 years+ of Visual Design experience with 1+ years of consuming from or contributing to Design Systems
  • Mastery over Sketch
  • You are a craftsperson at heart and have strong visual design and interaction design skills
  • Good understanding of front end technologies and principles. If you can code, that is a plus
  • A love for System and Process challenges just as much as you have for Design challenges
  • A nimble mind with a leaning towards the 'art of possible'
  • Ability to work independently and seek customer engagement proactively
  • An online portfolio that demonstrates your visual design expertise, story-telling and your system-thinking skills
