Are you consumed by home internet technology trends?5G Home Internet Product team is seeking a dynamic Sr. Product Manager to lead our 5GHI product management initiatives, to ensure product growth, engagement and satisfaction metrics are met. The successful candidate will report to the Sr. Director, 5GHI.The role is based in Toronto.

The Sr. Manager will forgestrong working relationships with internal stakeholders including residential and wireless consumer leadership, marketing, commercial strategy, pricing, finance, analytics, IT, network, legal & regulatory team. Strong candidates will be able to balance their own expertise and experience with the inputs from all these groups, always keeping top of mind: user experience, revenue growth and execution excellence.

The Sr. Product Manager must be comfortable making decisions, leading cross functional teams and making leadership presentations.

What you'll do:
  • Articulate a compelling 5GHI product vision/strategy, and maintain a detailed product roadmap to be socialized with multiple stakeholders
  • Take ownership of 5GHI portfolio products, manage their P&L and develop business cases to support new initiatives
  • Lead cross functional teams to plan and execute ongoing product enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and channel partners ensure aligned priorities and plans
  • Take concepts through governance process, and lead a product from concept through execution
  • Perform analytics to drive product adoption, reduce deactivations and increase data usage.
  • Identify a list of performance metrics and make decisions informed by the data.
  • Engage with the channels to make ongoing portfolio improvements
  • Identify and execute continuous enhancements to the product experience and journeys to drive product satisfaction metrics
  • Deliver in depth and up to date analysis of industry best practices, competitive landscape and emerging technologies
  • Analyse devices in the portfolio and influence decisions on new devices

What you bring:
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a product management role
  • Solid understanding of market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver successful products in an efficient and profitable manner
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about commercial platforms, home internet products and technologies
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, MBA or Business degree an asset
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills with a strong ability to manage, influence and leverage a multitude of stakeholders
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast paced environment
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and is able to work effectively with little supervision.
    Proven ability to prepare and deliver professional documents and presentations to all levels of an organization.
