Job Description

Guided by the Product Owner for the Delivery Execution Framework (DEF), accountabilities for this role include:
  • Play a leadership role in testing and revision of the DEF
  • Discussion, Challenge and Agree improvements to the DEF with Risk, Control, Agile@Scale, Finance, Journeys, Platforms, Practices, and COE teams.
    • Yes - everyone has an interest in the DEF
  • Partner with the EPMaG Pod as needed to achieve Themes, Features, Epics that move the NEW Transformation forward
  • Modify confluence pages, if required
  • Present and Train colleagues on the DEF in a variety of forums
  • Interact with 1B/2A/2B/3A Risk and Control groups to ensure activities are within Risk Appetite.
  • Provide Guidance regarding DEF interpretation to Journeys/Platforms/Practices/COE's as they become part of NEW
  • Known as a DEF / TDSA expert, you may be called to interaction with Regulators
  • SUGGEST IMPROVEMENTS to the DEF regularly
  • Be a champion for Agile at Scale and the wider NEW Transformation


Specific Educational Requirements / Accreditations:
  • Undergraduate or post graduate degree
  • Certification in a SM, Coach, SAFe or other Agile Discipline or equivalent expertise
  • 10+ years of Delivery Experience, including PDLC and/or Agile
  • Knowledge of Agile principles and practices, with experience working in an Agile organization
  • Required skills
    • An influencer who can successfully champion ideas in an environment where uncertainty around change will exist at all levels in the organization
    • A people leader with previous experience championing Delivery within TDBG, including mentoring colleagues and influencing leadership decisions
    • Knowledge of all aspects of the existing TD Project Delivery Governance and Methodologies, including PDLC, TD Agile, Smart Funding, PDGs and the EPDE
    • Hands-on experience delivering large, complex programs at TD
    • Expert knowledge of Agile disciplines and practices
    • Advanced skill in mentoring, coaching, listening, and providing feedback
    • Advanced familiarity with tools used in TD Delivery, including Clarity, Jira and Confluence

  • Nice to have
    • Experience implementing governance frameworks at TDBG
    • Experience with presenting to Regulators (OCC, FRB, OSFI)
