The Integration, Verification, Validation, Qualification (IVVQ) Engineer will be responsible for planning and performing IVVQ for the Encryption product line, which includes appliances and connectors. This position will be required to take a hands-on approach to the role, taking part in all IVVQ activities.
Key Areas of Responsibility:- Execution of Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification activities include:
- The production of Integration and Verification and Validation Planning documents e.g. Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Automation, System Integration Plan and Release Readiness.
- Management of the Integration and Test Team, encompassing task allocation and progress monitoring and monitoring and management of the quality of the products of IVVQ.
- Taking direction from and reporting to the Department IVVQ function owner to ensure that work is performed in accordance with department policy and processes.
- Taking direction from and reporting to the project System Engineering Manager to ensure that IVVQ activities are performed in accordance with project plans.
- Be familiar with how the customers use the system the incorporate this knowledge into the planning of all IVV activities by the IVVQ Engineer.
- Creates the System Test plan and report, assuring that the scope of the IVV activities fully covers all aspects of the system under test, while taking all previous verification activities on comparable systems into account to optimize the test effort. She/he works closely with the Project Engineer to define the IVV approach, which best suits the schedule, budget and quality requirements of the project, considering its scope and specific attributes of the system to be delivered.
- During the execution phase of the IVV activities, the IVVQ Engineer works with the System Engineer to guarantee flawless execution in accordance with the test strategy, defined in the System Test Plan. Depending on the size of the project and the current workload, he/she may support System Engineer activities, particularly during integration and fix cycle phases.
- Finds synergies between test activities for multiple programs.
- Efficiently manages test resources (staff, software & hardware).
- Manages Defects / EIRs for the customer.
- Represents IVV in Final System Acceptance Tests (FSATs).
- Act as Scrum Master, upholds agile values and principles, organizes and facilitates the reviews planned in Scrum.
Required Skills & Experience:- 5 to 7+ years of experience in test Software Development or quality assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience or familiarity with software languages including Shell script, JavaScript, Python, GoLang.
- 2+ years of experience or familiarity with agile methodology and test-driven development.
