Senior Analyst, Audience Insights
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Analyst to join the Media Insights team at Rogers Sports & Media. This team is essential to empowering our core brand and product teams with data-driven insights and analytics, driving strategic initiatives across performance reporting, brand tracking, custom analyses, and qualitative insights. As we work through 2025 and beyond, we're excited to expand our efforts in digital optimization, experimentation, and personalization.
In this role you will be a key member of the Audience Insights team, managing custom market research projects that support decision making across the Rogers Sports & Media business. Our team supports all aspects of the RSM business, and the successful candidate will be able to provide input into decisions for our thriving brands. You will support iconic brands like Sportsnet, Citytv, CityNews, and a diverse portfolio of music and news radio stations nationwide to help grow subscribers to our streaming products and grow audience engagement across our digital platforms.

What you'll do:
- Design & execute custom research projects in collaboration with marketing, sales & fellow insights team members
- Gain an understanding of the business problems facing our brands & teams, and provide data-led insights to help decision making across the business
- Recommend research methodologies that best address research objectives, and explore innovative solutions beyond the day-to-day
- Synthesize data into actionable insights that can be clearly communicated & understood by stakeholders
What you bring:
- Expertise in online research skills, including questionnaire design, survey programming, sampling techniques
- Advanced data analysis skills (factor analysis, linear regression, cluster/segmentation analysis, conjoint analysis, etc.) with experience working with data in Excel, SPSS, Displayr/Q and/or R
- Strong communication & storytelling skills and ability to present insights to internal & external stakeholders
- Data visualization skills with ability to build reports in PowerPoint, PowerBI, Domo and/or Tableau
- Strong organization skills to be able to manage multiple projects at once
- Strong willingness to collaborate with stakeholders & other insights team members to understand business problems and provide actionable insights
- Experience with qualitative research (e.g. focus groups, in-depth interviewing, etc.) considered an asset
